Hi Everyone,

Just wondered if there are any mummies out there with bubs born in 2006.

K was born in Nov 06. He is very active and loves Thomas the tank engine.

He is a bit of a fussy eater and is not a bad sleeper.

K just started sleeping in his big bed today! Im really excited.

That is exciting! Just wondering, what are your thoughts about sleeping in the same bed as your baby? I would be very concerned I would rollover. I am currently pregnant so its all new to me.

I dont reccommend sleeping in the same bed as yes it is a concern that you might roll on them, but it can also develop sleeping issues later when they are moved into their own bed.

K was in a bassinet for 7 weeks and then in the cot until now. He has been in his own room since 7 weeks of age and hasnt had a problem.

In saying that, we have brought K into our bed on occasion when he has been difficult to settle, but as soon as he is asleep we have always put him back in his own bed.

K slept well all night last night in his single bed and again at lunch time today.

My SIL however always had her children in bed with her so she didnt have to get up to them and now has quite a few sleep issues to deal with lol.

Its personal choice, but just not something i wanted to do.

My daughter was born Oct 06 - she's into the Wiggles and Hi-5 at the moment!

She also sleeps well.

It's such a great age at the moment, Brooke has such a great sense of humour already!

K loves Hi 5 and the Cars movie now. not so much into Thomas anymore lol.

He is sleeping really well now and eating alot better.

K is a real giggler too!

We went to the beach today and he enjoyed it heaps! Loved playing with his bucket and spade. We had fish and chips on the beach which was nice.

It was really windy tho, that was the only downside.

It is a great age atm i agree totally.
