How is the Baby Bonus paid?

The baby bonus will be cut from $5400 to $5000 from September 2012, and frozen at that level for a further three years, until then the Baby Bonus is paid per eligible child in 13 fortnightly instalments. From 1 July 2011, customers eligible to receive Baby Bonus will get a higher first instalment of $879.77 and 12 fortnightly instalments of approximately $379.77. The higher first instalment of Baby Bonus will assist with the upfront costs of having a new child.

Red face Due Sept...and counting
Hi everyone, I am due in September and can't wait. Although I have been told to make the most of my time now while I can get more than 2 hours sleep in a row!

Hi there, what date are you due? I am also due in September on the 8th although there was some mix up with my due date. According to the size of the baby and the growth i am due the 8th but according to my cycle i am due a week later. Weird. Is this your first? How have you been feeling?

Hi, due in second week September, but you never really do know. This is my first and I have been feeling ok, but light headed some of the time. My sisters baby was born 3 weeks early but all ok. I am trying to make most of my down time while I can!!

my daughter is 7 and despite all attempts she often wakes me in the middle of the night

I will be getting all the nap time I can! The hubby and I are trying to get in all the weekends away before our baby arrives.
