How is the Baby Bonus paid?

The baby bonus will be cut from $5400 to $5000 from September 2012, and frozen at that level for a further three years, until then the Baby Bonus is paid per eligible child in 13 fortnightly instalments. From 1 July 2011, customers eligible to receive Baby Bonus will get a higher first instalment of $879.77 and 12 fortnightly instalments of approximately $379.77. The higher first instalment of Baby Bonus will assist with the upfront costs of having a new child.

Well, it's me again. Don't think it's happened this month. The night before last, day 25, my DH and i had sex and when I went to the toilet afterwards there was a very light pink discharge on the toilet paper.
Then last night, day 26, the same thing except it was a darker red.
It's only happened after sex and only when I go to the toilet on the tp. DH said he didn't get anything on him.
I was expecting to be woken in the middle of the night with pains and AF but not yet. I think it wants to torture me a little while longer!
I read that if you are pregnant your cervix becomes very tender and sensitive and can cause some light bleeding after sex or it could be implantation bleeding. I doubt that though cos the preg tests still say negative.
Guess I'll just have to wait a few more days for AF.

Hi there,

Been reading your threads and just wanted to say good luck.. it seems like it is a little distressing for you going through this month after month... I am trying to take it as it comes and if it happens it happens I suppose.. My sister in law told me to just have fun with it and relax as stress and focusing on it too much can make it harder... I know easier said than done and we are only just starting out... I just hope your little surprise comes soon Keep us posted!!

Hey thanks! I stopped coming on here cos no one ever seemed to reply. How long you been trying now? I am going on to 10 months. Hope it doesn't take you that long. 2 more months and I go to the doctor... grrr!

Hey there,

I've been trying for only 2 months now so very early days and it is amazing reading all of the information that's out there... I have started on some multivitamins from blackmores in a pink box (can't remember the name) as my sister in law told me it is very important to have the right vitamins extra and I've had some issues requiring laser treatment a few years ago so anything to boost my chances I'm interested in!

Still no luck I take it? Well keep trying and I hope to hear some good news soon
